This is the popular A.E. 34 "Monophone." This was the epitome of 1930s telephone styling. This phone is mostly original, save for a new modular line cord and new handset cord from The House of Telephones . It also features a new rubber grommet around the base, as these are generally always found rotted or missing. Note the metal bands on the handset are the stock original and not polished out like many are found today (brass was considered an unattractive look in those days). The same goes for the finger wheel. Note the completely original dial number card. The phone sends and receives extremely well. Dial action is smooth and regular. Please note this phone does not have a ringer, so would have to be used as an extension only. Thank you for looking. It's phone clearance time (see last photo). Take at look at my other vintage phones up for auction this week!
