Singing Bird Cage Automaton, brass cage
mint condition A small yelow/black bird that moves its tail up and down and moves to the sides and sings while opening and closing his beak when the key is wound in the bottom. All is mechanical. the cage has a ring handle on the top to hang it up, it has also three feet underneath. T is a lever underneath that stops and starts with intermediate. Red velvet covers the bottom of the cage. I found it hidden in grandpa's wardrobe in a box, and I was able to clean it nicely. The wire part of the cage has some tiny signs of age. but in all it looks great! We don't know, w its origin is, and how old it is, but t is a sign on the botton (see picture). Dimensions: 9'' high, 5'' diameter, pole the bird is sitting is 2 1/4''. The weight including package is 5 pounds (to calculate your shipping costs).
