THE AVENGERS # 4 1st Appearance of Captain America in the Silver Age Unrestored, Complete 1st Print GD/VG You are bidding on issue 4 of The Avengers comic book series. This is the book that started it all, featuring the finding of Captain America and his introduction to the Silver Age . I have been to four major conventions this past year, and this book is becoming cery scarce as the movie approaches. This copy's condition is in the GD/VG range with defects indicative of the grade. more specific detail on the condition of the book can be found below: The book lays flat. The cover shows wear, but is attached firmly at the staples. Staples do not show any rust. Cover reflectivity is low to moderate with nice colors, and no fading. The cover does have creasing, most notably along the bottom edge. Corners are blunted, with a 1/4" x 1/4" triangle missing in the lower left hand corner. There is not a spine roll, but there is chipping, etc along the spine. Cover is firmly attached with some staple tears. Paper is cream to tan, with all interior pages present. I have included high resolution pictures of the book in the listing as well. Overall, the book is very presentable and in nice shape. This is a milestone book for any fan of Captain America, The Avengers, Marvel, or comic books in general. Don't miss out on this true silver
