Avengers Annual #2 - Stunning NM condition Up for auction is an amazing NM condition copy of Avengers Annual #2. Tight corners, white pages. It looks as if someone purchased this new and stored it in a mylar bag without ever reading it. I think it would be very hard indeed to find a better copy of this great comic. (Killer early Buscema cover. Shows just how good he was in his time. But I digress.) The square binding lays flat and is near perfect. Amazingly square corners. Comics from this era with black backgrounds are extremely hard to find in this condition becuase the black shows every single flaw and is very prone to fade. Likewise, the square binding is extremely prone to creases and it is very hard to find one without a rolled or misaligned spine. This comic suffers from neither of these issues. I have been collecting comics for many, many years and am a huge Avengers fan. I have never seen a copy of this issue in person that is in better shape. If you are a collector with a love of high grade books you will not be dissappointed. If you are an investor or reseller this is a very CGC'able/inverstment grade copy IMO. NOTE: I was weened on and continue to use the Overstreet method of grading comics. I have no issues selling this book as NM.
