This Large Avirex USA ( USAF ) MA-1 Mil-J-327901 stock # 0615-00 Found inside a storage box General Steve Ritchie Avirex jacket, gauges, paperwork & other stuff, the gauges inside the box were a radio compass instrument gauge and radio altitude instrument both gauges are included in the auction. Jacket is made of leather natural color and incredibly soft. Jacket looks like it has been worn lightly and has a few ink marks on the jacket right front pocket area ( shown in picture by the white circles and a ink mark on the left sleeve circled in white on picture. These marks are small but noticable. Jacket will need to be professionally cleaned due to light wear. Zipper is perfect, inside liner is perfect, no tears, no foul odors. Leather is very soft and in really nice condition Jacket measures from shoulder seam to cuff 25 inches. Across back from armpit to armpit 26 inches. Center of back collar to bottom of waistband 28 inches. Bottom waistband measures across 17 inches. Waistband, collar and cuffs are all like new and tight not all stretched out. This is not a winter jacket, liner is thin. I have never seen an Avirex jacket like this before in the natural tan color and butter soft leather.
