This Auction is for an Adolf Wislizenus jointed Bisque Head Doll with Composition Body. The back of the doll's head is marked AW Special and Germany. I understand she is from the early 1900's. She has a beautiful face. Although I think this doll is in good condition, since I am not a doll dealer and do not have much knowledge on dolls, I am selling this AS IS . The condition of the body is rougher than her face. As I stated I am not a doll dealer and do not have much knowledge on dolls so I will describe this doll as best I can. Also, I will not redresses her, but will send all her clothing to you. She is loose and will probably have to be tightened. I do not want to handle her any more than necessary. She is beautiful and I do not want to damage her. The doll is 23" tall. She is jointed and has a beauiful face with painted eyebrows and upper and lower lashes. She has large blue eyes. She has dark red painted lips. She has pig tails, which are rather long. I do not know if it is an original wig. One of her finger nails could be damaged, it is missing its red nail polish.
