Very nice collectors item! 1963 Vintage Western Electric 3 Slot PayPhone in Great Working Order. It is set on "free-play" and has a modular cord so it is ready to plug in and use. It has the original armored handset cord. What is very interesting about this particular payphone is that it proves the factory directly following the painting and dating of a payphone in black would immediately re-paint then beige. This occured in January of 1963 for this payphone. It was beige when new with marked date on the original black back and beige front of the back date marked January 1963. It was the re-painting at same point and refurbished back to black. It comes with 1 vault key and 1 upper housing service key. * This particular phone was a retirement gift for a pacific telephone employee as it is engraved on a silver plaque that reads: ART GRUNWELL 45 YEARS PACIFIC TELEPHONE "NOT GREAT - THE GREATEST" Please ask any questions before bidding and I will answer to the best of my ability.
