Offered with no reserve is this absolutely amazing blacksmith made coffeepot. Every part of this pot was hand forged. The entire body of this pot is solid copper with the handle and lid keeper being hand wrought brass. This pot was found in Moore County sitting on an old pot-bellied stove inside a house that had been empty for 70 years.Measures an impressive 11" tall and8" wide handle to spout. An absolutely fine example of southern primitive crftsmanship that probably dates to the civil war era. i hope the pictures can surely show the impressive and time consuming hand work that went into this superb example.
