This very unique but fascinating kaleidoscope will provide you with hours and hours of relaxation. Yes, the stand is included!! Nothing on your mind but those unique patterns, shapes, and colors reflecting different images to view .. This is absolutely beautiful !! The picture does not do this kaleidoscope justice. It's so true. The fact that all monitors are different also does not help. OH!! These are sooo pretty!! .The colors both inside and outside will absolutely amaze you. The inside contains unique and different little findings which I take special time in selecting just the right unique items to create the most interesting patterns, colors, and shapes for viewing. It contains gemstones and may be Purple Amethyst, Pink Tourmaline, Aqaumarine, Montana Rainbow, Peridot, Emerald, Light Blue Glass AB, White Sea Coral, Brazilian Golden Citrine, African Tourmaline Quartz, African Pyrope Garnet, or many other different gemstones of numerous kinds. And of course the inside is much brighter than the picture shows... I do take the picture so you can see the patterns made by the gemstones This table top kaleidoscope has 2 brass rings, 3 front surface mirrors, and a special lens with a brass eyepiece.. It measures appx 8" long and is appx 2" in diameter. Endless fascination will be found with this one of a kind kaleidoscope. This is a double tube kaleidoscope so as you look through the one end and turn the the other end it will provide flowering explosions of colors, shapes, and patterns. If you will look through the kaleidoscope horizontally under a lamp that is turned on you will get the best viewing results. The artist used her own design in creating the outside of the kaleidoscope. The outside is made of polymer clay using fluorescent pink, green, and yellow.... Once the clay is baked and sanded to a smooth finish. She then puts several coats of varnish on to protect the outside layer. Then piece by piece the inside and outside of the kaleidoscope is created. Impress your friends with this one of a kind kaleidoscope . This would make a unique gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Valentines Day, Anniversary, Birthday or for Christmas or just because.
