This postcard was sent by an Waffen-SS member of the SS-Eastern railroad station Warsaw to Munich. The eastern railroad (Ostbahn) was responsible for all Jewish transportations. On the postcard is a Generalgouvernement stamp and the Warsaw postmark from October 1940. The handwritten text of the card is awesome and reads as follows:
Hello Karl ! many greetings from Warsaw and...unreadable...We almost managed the Jewish migration. Now it will be more quiet here. Let something hear from you old comrade. Also write about....unreadable...how is my little doing ? regards, Albert
Please note: The card is age related pretty yellowed and on the right edge are some tiny tears.
