I am offering for your consideration this Royal Doulton Toby Mug, Catherine Howard was one of Henry VIII Wives. This jug depicts her in the Toby Jug series. She was accused of adultery and King Henry had her beheaded at the Tower of London in 1542. At 7 inches tall, this jug is the largest size. It was introduced in 1977 and discontinued in 1989. The underside reads: Made in England D6645 and dated 1977. Catherine Howard's name is embossed on the back lower edge. This jug is listed in the A Carlton Standard Catalogue Royal Doulton Jugs and has a book value of $175.00. The jug is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.
