A truly unique gift for the Ayn Rand fan or collector.
Professionally framed, mint condition, full sheet of Ayn Rand 1999 commemorative stamps (#3308). Measures 15-3/4" x 13.5" x 7/8". The $0.33 face value stamps feature a stunning Art Deco portrait by Nicholas Gaetano, which places Ayn among towering skyscapers and golden beams of light, conveying the power and illumination of her brilliant works. Complementing the art, a textured "steel girder" metal frame and richly colored, double matting, shielded by UV protective glass and highlighting Ayn's seminal quote: "My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute." This is a quality piece, a wonderful conversation piece to be hung at the office or home of any Ayn Rand fan. Please note, the frame is a full 7/8" thick and has a very rich bronze coloring to it that is not captured on the photos. Several have been sold successfully; check my feedback for all positive ratings. *note: bidders $150 or above will receive an official USPS First Day of Issue canceled Stamp sheet. Alternatively, if your bid is lower, you may request the sheet by adding $20 to the bid.
