Azure Blue Fostoria VERSAILLES 5-1/2 inch wineDESCRIPTION: This gorgeous goblet is Fostoria’s classic Versailles pattern, etched on their #5098 stemware, with the vertical optic bowl in beautiful Azure blue. Though listed as wines in the Fostoria catalogs, most collectors today use water goblets to serve wine. The true “wine” size holds enough for a serving of sherry, port, or my favorite, sauterne. It stands 5-1/2 inches high, indicating that it is truly the wine, and NOT the 6 inch tall claret.
