I wasdelighted to get ahold of a complete line of this discontinued &beautiful scent.
Azzaro was a Tunisian-born French couturier of Italian parentage. He had been a university professor before entering the design world, w his famous clientele included Bridget Bardot and Liza Minelli, to name just two. As 9 was his favorite number, Loris Azzaro created a scent comprised of 9 white and yellow flowers: jasmine, mimosa, violet, broom, wild iris, orange blossom, tuberose, ylang-ylang, and water hyacinth, all upon a base of sandalwood and vanilla. The original scent was created in 1985, and reformulated in 1992 by Roger Pellegrino of Firmenich for Loris Azzaro. It is this reformulation, very close to the original, that you are considering. The reformulation is heavier on the fruit, as was the style in the early 1990's.
Notes for this 1992 complex fruity floral include:
Fruity, Green Fresh Top Notes of: Pineapple, Aldehyde , Green Notes, Mandarin, & Bergamot , followed by;
Floral Middle Notes of Rose, Jasmin, Tuberose, Lily of the Valley, Ylang-Ylang, and Carnation ; drying down to a: Powdery Base of Sandal , Cedarwood, Cistus , Musk, & Moss I have (3) 1 oz/30 ml spray bottles, which are brand new.
