The B-52 Stratofortress Wooden Desk Top Model Wing Span; 21 1/4" Length; 17 1/2" Height (w/ base); 8" High polish to show wood grain of all pieces. Pieces are not stained; different woods are used for windows, etc. The weight and craftsmanship of each piece is outstanding. Solid, carved wood. No filler or hollow parts used.
The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range eight-engined strategic bomber flown by the United States Air Force since 1954. Although built for the role of Cold War-era nuclear deterrent, its conventional capabilities are these days the more important role in USAF operations, w its extremely long range, heavy weapons load and comparatively economical operation (compared to the rest of the USAF strategic bomber fleet) are extremely useful. Wings, Display stand, and other smaller pieces easily attach when removed from the box. No glue is needed! Shipping costs can not be combined on wooden models. Each model is shipped separately in a custom box with high density foam. GuaranteeAll items guaranteed to arrive as described with refunds cheerfully granted if item is materially different than as listed. Items must be returned with in 7 days of original delivery and are subject to inspection prior to issuance of refund. Refund will include purchase price and initial shipping. Refund will be made after item is returned. Shipping return is the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer must return in same box used with original material and insure for high bid value/purchase price.
