Benjamin Callender made planes in Boston from 1851 to 1887. The imprint on this one, with the "...& Co." dates it to after 1862. American Wooden Planes, 4th Edition rates his imprints as Very Rare (3 Stars) .
This plane is in fine- with only minor use marks and wear. The boxing just aft of the throat has raised up just a tiny bit - it should not affect use.
The cut will be 3/8" between quirk centers. and almost 1/2" overall.
