You are bidding on a complete restored and repainted B&O Mast Color Position Light Signal. Signal was completely disassembled, all rusted and destroyed screws and bolts replaced with new, repainted, and rewired. Signal is completely operational, and ready for a good home. Signal originally came from the B&O between Garrett and Chicago and was retired during the redouble tracking in the late 90's in preparation for the Conrail takeover. Signal came from another collector originally. All hood screws and lens rings have new brass screws and washers installed. This signal is as mint as the day it was placed in service. All lenses have been replaced with brand new General Signals Inc. plastic lenses. This means the inner colored lenses, in addtion to the outer clear lenses. New lens gaskets have also been installed around the outer lenses.Signal has new wiring installed but retains the original signal bulbs.Winning bidder will need an appropriate power supply to power the signal.I should be able to ship the item via UPS ground. If I do ship, I will ship the brackets and lens visors in a seperate box from the target of the signal. This will reduce weight and decrease the risk of damage to the visors.
