Welcome to my auction, PLEASE take time to read this description. My knowledge of steam locomotives both real and model is very limited and for any technical information about the model I would suggest entering its catalogue reference into Google. My knowledge of diesels is much better! What I do know is that all items on auction today are due a bereavement and the owner had purchased them brand new and never ran them - he was just a collector and had no model railway. Every model has been taken from its box, visually examined and tested by me prior to auction. I am not aware of any problems unless I indicate in this description. Online research will indicate if the models are DCC ready as I have only tested on DC using a Hornby 'DC' rolling road'. The boxes will show signs of shelf wear and unless stated are complete with no tears but some have original price stickers on them and will not be removed. I have no idea if any are rare or discontinued items and so the auction will start at 1 pound and run its course of one week. Detail parts and paperwork where appropriate are included and unfitted. I believe that some of the models had a piece of metal fitted beneath the chassis and it acted as bracket for shipping purposes only - this is not present.Sorry for the long description but it is, in my view, required reading.So, what you are bidding on is as far as I am aware a model which has not been used apart from my test run and it will require 'running in' to the manufactures specification. No parts are broken or missing - I have checked them. I will add that care must be taken when removing them from the packing within their own boxes. I have caused minor damage myself to two loco's which I have not listed - these are delicate models, with small detail parts and unsuitable for children to 'play with'. EVERY model must be regarded as SECONDHAND and keep this in mind if you intend bidding. Past experience tells me that no matter how well I test something, how 'mint' it looks to me or if something is brand new - someone who wants to find something to moan about will indeed do so. Sorry to be blunt, but no doubt genuine buyers & sellers 'have been there, done it' and understand why I've gone to the trouble to type all this description. If you want 'new', walk in a shop and buy new. If you want a nice unused model, buy this.I am quoting a flat postage charge per model and if I find it is in excess of 75p I will refund the excess. If it is insufficient, that is my problem. I will only mail via a 'recorded method'. I will combine postage if more than one item is won, where it is the cheapest option for the buyer. No need to ask me to pack items together - I do that anyway where it is the cheapest option for the buyer. Items will be packed in a mailing box and bubble wrapped. Items can be collected from my WV5 postcode address but only by prior arrangement and only with a CASH purchase. Payment is by PAYPAL or CASH. I will list a dispatch time to cover myself but always try and mail within just a few days of auction end. I am not a dealer and do not have a 'packer or a gofor' - I do it all myself and make every effort for a speedy mailing. Please refrain from telling me the postal costs - I'm not stupid.
