These are 2 brand new/never used Amtrak, MU, Metorliner Cars with pantographs by Bachmann in their original boxes. Both are dummies and come with interiors, window glazing, and hook horn couplers. History – Metroliners : Amtrak acquired a total of 61 MU Metroliners from the Pennsylvania Railroad/Penn Central in 1971. While the initial pair of Metroliners was tested up to speeds of 164 MPH, when put in service they were initially limited to speeds of 125 MPH before later being reduced to a maximum speed of 90 MPH. They remained in service as 4, 6, or 8 car train sets until the early 1980s. Please review the feedback on my selling of HO equipment.
