This is a Bachmann 16 Ton Steel Mineral Wagon body mounted on a Mainline Railways wagon chassis. This chassis is fitted with the Bachmann wheels . (Plastic 3-hole disk wheels on metal Pin-Point axles.) It has Mainline couplings. (Or early Bachmann, they are the same.) Originally a Bauxite ( B.R. Brown No. B88647 ) wagon, it has been re-painted B.R. Grey, had new transfers fitted, and weathered. The Mainline Railways chassis has replaced the original Bachmann chassis. Supplied in the original Bachmann Branch-Line box. One end flap is stamped inside 00 417 . Box label: ITEM No: 33-750 16 Ton Steel Mineral Wagon B. R.
