Here I have a BR Mark 1 Kitchen Car!Well, it's not exactly finished. As all modellers will know, Bachmann have produced a Restaurant Car but no Kitchen Car to prepare the meals in. But they've done Buffet Cars.Many years ago Peter Chatham, using his 'PC Models' banner, produced some magnificent screen printed Mk 1 coach sides, amongst which were Kitchen Cars, which were intended to be stuck to the sides of proprietary coaches.Bachmann's range of Mk 1s is regarded as the 'industry standard' at present so I decided to put the two together to form a Dining set for my proposed 'Royal Wessex' train. (The SR only had one Kitchen Car, for use on the Wessex).Then we moved house and all my Southern plans went out the window (I've had to go over to N gauge) so this prize project cannot be finished - at least by me. Perhaps you'd like to? If so, take a punt here! So, what's it worth? I've no idea, so there's no Buy It Now option - it's 'let the market decide'. As a bonus, there are the other sides which formed part of the PC models set, together with a couple of cut ones from another set.
