We are using a factory photograph for this auction - the item you will receive is road number 7606. During the 60s and 70s, the race was on among locomotive manufacturers to develop more powerful locomotives for long-haul freight service. Among EMD's entrants into the fray was the special duty SD-45, a 3600-horsepower prime mover that went on to serve virtually every major railroad. With a V-20 engine and six-axle trucks for superior tractive effort, the SD-45 embodied the latest and greatest technological advances of its day. Following EMD's lead in the pursuit of cutting-edge technology, we're proud to offer this Spectrum locomotive. Features include: DCC ready; two piece die-cast main frame; all-wheel pickup; 5-pole, skew wound motor; dual machined brass flywheels; white LED lighting; finescale detail parts; N scale NMRA wheel flange profile This locomotive performs best on E-Z Track curves with a minimum radius of 19 inches. Please read the following prior to bidding. 1. The item in this auction is brand new in the manufacturers original packaging. It has never been used in any manner. We are a factory authorized dealer for every item that we sell. 2. We do combine shipping. eBay users may accumulate items for up to ten days without paying for them.
