Bachmann Spectrum HO 2-10-0 Russian Decapod Susquehanna 2443 - DCC w/ Tsunami 16-Bit Sound Processor! Item # 84306 MSRP: $ 375.00 With the advent of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the Baldwin Locomotive Works was forced to stop shipment of over 100 2-10-0 locomotives originally bound for Czarist Russia. These “orphan” locomotives later found homes with American railroad companies and helped relieve a scarcity of motive power following World War I. Faithful to detail, each roadname of this Bachmann Spectrum model has been customized per prototype. Features include: DCC sound-equipped, dual-mode NMRA-compliant decoder for DCC or DC operation, operating headlight, completely hidden drive train, cog V-belt flywheel drive, precision motor, precision balanced brass flywheel, metal motor bearings, separately applied stack/domes & cab, metal detail parts including bell/whistle/pop valves/cut levers/handrails & stanchions, separate sanding lines, highly detailed cab interior, painted crew figures, siderods blackened per prototype, rust-colored, magnetically operated E-Z Mate knuckle couplers in front & rear and diecast finescale driver spokes.
