This auction is for the Bachmann Spectrum Richmond 4-4-0 American - Modern HO Scale Steam Locomotive & Tender Maryland & Pennsylvania #6 with Steel Cab 83405. Before competition with Baldwin and other larger manufacturers forced the hands of smaller locomotive builders to merge and form Alco, the Richmond Locomotive Works offered this �state-of-the-art� 4-4-0 beginning in the early 1900�s. Employed in main line and short mixed passenger service until as late as the mid-twentieth century, this thoroughly modern American was equipped with cutting-edge technology, such as air brakes, knuckle couplers, and a tapered boiler for improved steam efficiency. Features include: � DCC-equipped for speed, direction, and lighting (8-pin plug) � die-cast boiler, chassis, and frame � cog V-belt drive � operating headlight � all-metal Walschaert valve gear � finescale metal detail parts including separately applied bell, whistle, domes, and piping � detailed backhead � RP25 metal wheels � E-Z Mate� Mark II couplers on front and rear Please read the following prior to bidding. 1. The item in this auction is brand new in the manufacturers original packaging. It has never been used in any manner. We are a factory authorized dealer for every item that we sell. 2.
