Here we have a virtually unused example of the originalClass 85 previously known as Type AL5. This is Bachmann ref 31-676 in the original BR Electric Blue which isdistinct from the later BR blue. The loco number is E3058. The loco has two pantographs as originally fitted and a 21-pin decoder socket. It has its unopened accessory pack plus a set of etched number and crest plates to be added to the model if desired. It comes in all the original packaging which is in very good condition. She runs very well from a crawl to full speed even before being run in. The two switches near the roof-mounted pantograph enable the cab and/or head/tail/internal lights to be switched on or off. When using DCC, onboard lights are controlled by functions F0 (head/tail lights on/off) and F1 (cab lights on/off). The unfortunate death of the owner prompts this sale.
