1b is = to over 2200 carats (or 16oz). The gallery picture is the raw emerald in its mine bag. The other is a crystal in matrix that went off to someone in their lot. The other picture is an example of a random scoop of 1LB of rough emerald. That faceted emerald is the potential this material has. What to expect Nice crystals in matrix are not uncommon. Majority of the emeralds are still inside the matrix of black mica and so you have no idea what you really have till you break up the clumps and remove the matrix. I can not guarantee what you will recieve but the possibilities are endless. A good cut gem is worth upwards into the thousand s per carat. Shipping I try to ship out packages the day of or day after payment is cleared. Typical transit time is 2-3 days after shipping. NOTE: I will combine multiple wins to save on shipping.
