BAKELITE 1930 NEW HAVEN -WESTINGHOUSE ALARM CLOCK UNUSUAL ELECTRIC CLOCK WITH MECHANICAL ALARM This clock dates from 1930, is 77 years old and is in a nice mahogany colored BAKELITE CASE The case is in the shape of an old fashioned radio and even has a small section in the back that is made to look like speaker cloth. The CORD is the original silk covered type and is in good shape. The plug is the original round BAKELITE type. It has a piece broken off the side but is still useable. The DIAL is yellow and has three very small flakes of paint at the top of the alarm setting portion of the dial. I only noticed these after viewing the greatly enlarged pictures shown below. It is marked NEW HAVEN WESTINGHOUSE and at the very bottom in small letters THE NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO. U.S.A. The hour and minute HANDS are fancy, brown colored and t is a gold colored sweep second hand. The alarm hand is also brown. A note about read more
