BAKELITE Brooch BLACK Bow Tie w Rhinestones 1930s No too formal! Here is a charming little black bow tie brooch made of glossy bakelite and small rhinestones. The bakelite has been verified by the Simichrome test. The brooch measures 3" by 1 1/4". Condition is very nice, with just a touch of darkening to some of the stones. The black surface is nicely glossy. The back shows either repair or replacement of the pin and tube catch (pictured) Pretty, practical and ready to wear!
