Black Bakelite Gecophone Table Telephone Black bakelite GEC Telephone. Labelled as "The Reliance Telephone Company Ltd". Working condition. Tested for incoming and outgoing calls. Dial runs smoothly, nice ring to it. In need of a good clean. I can only find a hairline crack on the right hand side at the bottom, about 1" long. And underneath, on the base of the phone is a small chip. Handset has recessed oval with the words "GEC Phone - Made in England". On the front of the body, there looks to be a Gold logo - which I can make out to say "Reliance" but unfortunately the rest of it looks like its rubbed off. On the metal base of the phone is an oval plate that looks like its been glued on that says "Engine (Prod) 54 39000 DIVISION".
