32 1/2" tall overall : 7/8" diameter stick : handle 4 1/4" x 2" x 3/4". The bakelite handle has a chip off its tail and at the top of its head, neither of which snag the hand. The beech shank has a split which is going nowhere on the chamfer above the silver metal collar. The handle is not glued into the shank but fits snugly and would be simple to glue into place. The beech stick is strong and decorated with four bands of three rows of boat shaped divots. It is varnished and has a rubber foot. It has a 1/4" bow along its length. I assume, fairly confidently, that the stick and handle were made before WWII, and probably after WWI.
