I'm cleaning out Grandma's house. Keep checking back for more great finds. Here is a gorgeous old mah jongg set with all the original tiles. Tile dimensions are 7/8" x 1-1/4" x 1/2". It's hard to describe the color which is uniform throughout, closest to the sixth picture. A yellow ochre with a greenish cast. I have no idea what the original color was but all the tiles do match, a true deep bakelite yellow. There are 5 racks of varying jelly colors with bakelite ends. All the tiles are vividly marked. There are 27 flowers some of which were used as jokers and have some residue from taped stickers. The only caveat is a handful of tiles have hairline cracks, (doesn't go through the entire tile and in no way lessens them being intact). Also one tile (1 crak) has what appears to be a manufacturing defect of a slightly curved indentation on the back. See picture. A flower can be used in its place if so desired. I want to give as much detail as I can. The case has the usual wear to the corners, the locks are intact, although are a few indentations as can be seen in the picture. Overall this set is absolutely gorgeous and will provide you with lots of joy as it has for the past 60 plus years. There isn't much more to say except you won't be disappointed.
