Handmade by yours trulyAll of my marbles are made with soda lime glass and kiln annealed for strength...Lampworked marbles of this nature and scope are extremely difficult to handle and can take many hours of intense concentration and controlEvery single fleck of color, every single flash of light is placed by hand and then encased by hand....Ts no furnace...Ts no pot of molten glass to dip into...No brindle chair to support the weight of the piece...It simply Me, my bench torch a few canes of glass and a ton of determination that creates these magical sps of color and light **The Evolution Continues** From right to left these beautiful handmade lampworked wonders measure 1.040, .940, .920 & .880 inches in diameter respectively Introducing "Birds of Paradise" Inspired by the multitude of boldly colored birds of South America...This eye popping set of paneled Onionskins is intended to illustrate the progression of how a piece of marble cane is pulled cut and "marbled"They are literally STUFFED with aventurineFrom right to left, beginning, middle and the end of the cane are used to create whatever form of core the maker chooses.It all depends on the twist stretch and fold...or how he or she decides to manipulate the cane.Not only beautiful but a rare and educational glimpse into the world of mable making.
