The Polish Pottery that is up for auction is a gorgeous UNIKAT Baker Oval . I personally hand-picked this item on 31st of October 2008, from Boleslawiec, Poland directly from the manufacturer Ceramika Artystyczna. It is brand new and was meticulously inspected to ensure top quality. Item was carefully boxed by the manufacturer and transported by me. Item will be re-inspected/boxed by me at my residence just prior to shipping.NOTE: This item is located at my residence in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The USPS APO address I'm using has a New York zip code and is the reason why it shows up as New York above. DIMENSIONS: 13 3/4 x 9 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches QUALITY: Polish pottery from the Boleslawiec region of Poland is known worldwide for the finest of quality and craftsmanship. It is beautiful and durable stoneware which is hand-made and hand-painted. This item is safe for use in a microwave oven and a conventional oven. It is also safe to clean in a dishwasher or stored in a refrigerator-freezer. It is also free of any lead or cadmium. This is a UNIKAT item. Artists who achieve a superior level of excellence in craftsmanship begin designing unique patterns referred to as Unikat , or Signature . Polish pottery in Unikat patterns bears the artist's signature. It is labor-intensive and tfore, limited in supply. Each piece is a treasure.
