Up for auction, just in time for Christmas, is a beautiful Brass lamp by Baldwin. It is called the James River Sofa Lamp. It came out of a home filled with Colonial Williamsburg furniture from Biggs, Kittinger, and other reproduction companies. Looking on the Baldwin web page they do not make lamps or candlesticks anymore. I have two of them but am selling them as singles incase you already have one and need another one. I will try to do better on shipping if you buy both of them. They are almost identical, if not exactly the same as the Virginia Metalcrafters candlestick CW16-34 or their lamp CW16-34E. As you all know VM is out of business and these items are getting harder to come by. The brass part of the lamp is in excellent shape and look to be in showroom condition. It measures 29 inches tall to the top of the brass finial. It also handles a 3 way bulb. If you want the shade also it will be an extra $15.00 shipping cost because of having to box it separately as to not damage it. The silk shade on this lamp has a small rip inside of the shade which is not noticable from outside and a small little spot outside also not really noticable (the lamp shade on the other one is in great shape with no stains or rips in the silk shade). Shipping for this lamp, including handling and boxing fees will be done by UPS and will cost $25.00 read more
