This auction offers you the opportunity to bid on a lovely old mahogany slant front secretary desk made by JB Van Sciver in the early 1900's. It has the original old gold label on the inside. Nice old serpentine front 3 drawer chest on ball & claw feet with a slant front secretary desk on top. The slant front opens up to reveal a writing desk top and lots of cubby hole storage slots and a small inner cabinet. N9ice condition with normal marks on it from use. It stands 40" high and is 31" wide by 19" in depth from front to back. The desk top writing surface is 29" from the floor. If you are looking for a mahogany slant front secretary desk, this is a nice one to bid. It will be selling with an opening bid of $5 as do almost all of our auctions, with no reserve price set.
