Rare ball made clean aqua quart Hahne & co newark n.j. in a circle with pentagram star in center. You can see peened out backward j in n.j. in last pic. reverse Mason's patent nov 30th underlined 1858. Thick heavy glass with lots of bubbles. Perfect Ground lip with ball lid. mark on bottom is a Large D with backwards p attached. no chips or cracks. A real beauty for any glass collection. This was one of my favorites until I got an extremely whittled one. The quart is rarer than the pints. This jar is gorgeous clean sparkler worth more than the 100 on low end of red book10Posted with eBay Mobile
