This is my last auction of BIGGS information that i will be offering, so don't miss out.. we have a full line catalog ( 50 pages full ), and I believe this was printed in 1953. It is truly amazing the quality of this furniture!. The catalog itself is in great overall condition, however t are a good many pencil marks denoting prices etc. This was my grandmother's copy and she was shopping for my parent's furniture through this catalog. Stamped on first page and last in red ink is "Biggs Antique Co Inc, 518 North Charles Street, Baltimore, Md".
Next t is a Biggs price list, dated September 1, 1954. This is a "tri fold" list, and also bears the red stamp as the catalog above. Also has light pencil name and phone number. Next is "BIGGS Newsletter, Winter 1972. A "quad fold" announcement. By this time Biggs had four locations, Richmond, Washington, Baltimore and Atlanta. Nice shape. Letter from E. M. Farley advertisement dated September , 1963. I believe this to be hand signed. "Dear Customer" etc.. Biggs Old Sturbridge Village reproduction price list, single small page, mint. Old Sturbridge Catalog, 6? pages, small amount of pencil pricing, otherwise mint. If you collect Biggs or Baltimore advertising, this is a great and perhaps never to be repeated auction. good luck! buyer to pay actual postage plus insurance if desired.
