Something fun and unique for the Railroad buff! Not a typical railroad collectible, but still a historical piece of memorabilia, that would complement your collection.

This is an 11" long gavel made from the wood of the cupola that used to be at Camden Station in Baltimore, MD. The cupola was erected in 1856 and sadly, retired in 1951. The gavel is 56 years old, the wood it is made from,150 years old!

This gavel commemorates the BALTIMORE AND OHIO RAILROAD COMPANY and it's history in that area. The wooden gavel is very lightweight, nicely shaped, no gouges, but some surface scratches, which one may be able to polish out. Plate with the information is black metal, gold lettering.
