You are bidding on a pair of Bambara masks collected in Central Mali during the summer of 2009, in the vicinity of S égou . I don't know a lot about these masks, save that this type is always made in pairs, with one mask being male and the other female. They were produced fairly recently but are still very nice pieces. The mali mask measures 17 ½ inches from top to bottom, 6 ½ inches wide and roughly 7 ½ inches deep. The female mask 15 ½ inches from top to bottom, 6 inches wide and 7 inches deep.
