From the family of a deceased 506th combat vet. Lot includes: two small photos, measuring approximately 2 1/2" by 3 1/2", the photo paper is marked AgfaLupex on back. One photo clearly shows Col Sink and General Maxwell Taylor, the other shows what appears to be Col Sink giving a talk to his troops.....One small pocket mirror, measuring less than 3" in diameter. An souvenir of Berchtesgaden, with a small yellow Edelweiss "star" flower under the plastic cover! It's squashed, but a surprising item. See the lower left edge of the Berchtesagaden image, in the attached photos. (6-7 o'clock position).....Two 101st shoulder patches, both have been removed from uniforms, as remains of stitching is still attached....One two-tone blue regimental oval patch....One "Airborne" patch that goes above the 101st Screaming Eagle patch...One Currahee lapel pin and one 82nd Airborne lapel pin. The Currahee one looks too new to be 65+ years old, but I give you my word it's real. I can't explain why it looks so good. It must not be silver, like the 82nd pin, or has a sealant or plating to resist tarnishing, I don't know...This stuff was given to me by the family of the trooper, who didn't want anything to do with this stuff. It was a bad family situation...Nothing here is repro...Also included will be a Good Conduct medal and lapel pin. They weren't photographed - everyone knows what they look like. See photos. Any questions, email me. FREE shipping within U.S. Please see my other listings, which include this vet's Regimental Currahee warbook - an original made in Germany at the end of the war.
