This BANDAI (Japan) 1961FORD STATION WAGON WITH A CAMPING / HOUSE TRAILER is in excellent Plus to Near Mint condition, in its original box. The 10.5-inch long car has what appears to be a professional repaint job. The paint shows a slight “orange peel” finish, but the car does not appear to have been taken apart. There is a tiny dent on the roof and 1 on the hood. The chrome trim and hubcaps are near mint. The beautifully detailed interior is nicely lithographed with luggage in the back. The friction motor works well, and the rubber tires are near mint. The 11.25-inch long house trailer has a few paint abrasions, and minor factory touch-up along the upper edges. The trailer has 3 opening doors and a slide-out awning. The trailer hitch hook shows plier marks. A tin picnic table, with 3 tin chairs, comes with this toy. The rubber tires are near mint, and the tin wheels are lightly scuffed. The original box is complete, but has a name printed on the lid, a lid tear, and a few minor edge tears. This is the exact toy that is shown in the “Big Book of Tin Toys” by Smith and Gallagher. This is a great looking Bandai car and trailer set. You will be a happy camper when you park it into either your Japanese tin, Ford or house trailer toy collection. ===================================================== Shop with confidence, we give a 14 read more
