A lovely 1920s / 1930s Bandalasta Coracle container made of gorgeous marbled Urea Formaldehyde. Fitted with spring clips to keep the contents fresh, such as sandwiches. In perfect condition free from scratches and retaining its glorious original shine, it appears to have never been used. Bandalasta was renown for its high quality mouldings in this early form of plastic, and this example may once have been part of a picnic set that the company were famous for, although individual pieces could be bought separately at the time. A really nice retro piece, and still very usable to take your lunch to work in, but in style! Dimensions are 15cms square by 10cms tall. Pay-Pal only, item will be posted 1st Class Recorded as soon as payment is received.
