Light discolouration and light staining on the complete front and rear of note. Obverse : Medium staining around all edges. Reverse : Medium staining around all edges in approx 3cms. Heavier at top left and bottom right corners. Counting Marks : None Pin Holes : One pin hole and one spike mark visible in the centre of the note when held up to the light. This note was issued in the Ploughman Series, second issue by the Bank of Ireland, Two horses and man with plough on the rear, by Joseph Brennan and H J Johnston on the 3rd July 1939. The Serials numbers for this date as listed are Serial Nos 05BB to 09BB. This note is near the end of the issue.
