William Shakespeare's tale of Romeo and Juliet is one of the world's most treasured stories of young love. Who better to capture the beauty and poignancy of youth and true love than Barbie® and Ken®. Their clothes are beautifully fashioned to capture the intricacy and richness of the fashions of the 16th century. As Juliet, Barbie® wears a high-waisted velvet gown with beautiful golden trim and a dramatic chapel train that falls from her shoulders. Her sleeves are elegantly finished with lace and puffed at the top. Her brunette hair is richly braided with golden trim. As Romeo, her young idealistic lover, Ken doll wears a blue velvety tunic with silvery sleeveless jacket, a "jeweled" chain befitting his family's stature and a blue velvety hat. His legs are elegantly attired in blue leggings and he wears black slippers upon his feet. Dolls are mint and NRFB (Never Removed From Box). ***Box displays beautifully from the front, but has a little bit of moisture wear on the bottom and the back of the box.*** No odors!
