BARGAIN 1-5/8 INCH AFRICAN T-REX DINOSAUR TOOTH #207 GENUS: Carcharodontosaurus SPECIES: saharicus PERIOD: Cretaceous(100,000,000 years) LOCALITY: Taquiz, Kasar-es-Souk Region Morocco North Africa FORMATION: Tegana Formation Paleontolegist Paul Sereno with a Carcharodontosaurus skull. DESCRIPTION: This auction is for an "African T-rex", Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth, a tyranosaurid like North Americas Trex. Carcharodontosaurs were carnovours that grew to a length of 44 feet and weighed up to 16,000 pounds. They were much larger than their North American cousins. PLEASE NOTE: During the summer, sales slow down markedly. This summer is and will be worse than normal. Until next fall, the bulk of our offerings, especially the higher priced items, will be sold in our eBay store. Be sure to check it out often. Please allow up to 16 days to receive your package (US) as I'm only able to get to the post office once or twice a week. That being said, we will make every effort to get your package out as quickly as possable. NOTE: We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in shipping since it is out of our hands, but will make every effort to trace a package or replace a broken item if returned. We package our fossils well and have experienced less than 1/10 of 1% breakage in shipping. Multiple winnings can be combined to reduce shipping costs. We guarantee that all of our fossils are genuine fossils, unless otherwise stated. With proof to the contrary, we will refund your purchase price.
