A distinctively styled, bark edge koa bowl. It's 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" wide, 3 3/8" high at the tallest edge, and has a 3/16" wall. The curve "lifts" from a 1 3/4" recessed foot. The grain has some very nice shimmer, which I hope you can see in one of the photos. The bowl has a buffed oil and lacquer finish which enhances the grain of the wood and creates a beautiful glow. Although t is a starting price on the bowl, it's well under the $120+ which is the l east you'd pay a bowl of similar style, size and quality in any of the good Hawai'i galleries. If you're not happy with it, I'll gladly refund your purchase price, less shipping and handling . If you're interested in other fine turnings, particularly translucent Norfolk pine, please visit my eBay store. Feel free to email me with any questions. Mahalo.
