Up for auction is a beautiful Bark River Gameskeeper II Knife. This is the Magnum version of the Game series that Bark River offers. These are a semi custom made knife and it is a hard knife to find. If you look on ebay, chances are, you will not find one. The Gameskeeper II excels at tasks like quartering and breaking down large game. It has the back-bone to get the job done. Ever clean a wild pig? How many times did you need to sharpen your knife? No need with this one! My Buck skinner 103 gets dull before I am done. Not so with the A2 blade. The knife features a black canvas micarta grip which is virtually indestructible. Hot or extreme cold will not effect it. The blade is made of A2 steel which really holds an edge. Blade thickness is .215 inch. and tapers from back to front. The blade is also convex ground which is just about the best grind going. This kind of grind lends more strength to the knife's blade. Blade length is 5.75 inches. Overall length is 10.25 inches. Weight is 6.875 oz. This knife comes new in the box with a sharpshooter sheath but, as a bonus, I am including a New Custom made Savage sheath Made In The USA, this is one of the best sheaths money can buy!
