Hi, this is for a Bark river Knife & tool Golok....Sorry to whoever was watching before but I had to think about letting this go a little more,so I pulled it off...... This is a great tool ! It 17.5" long with about an 11" blade, the blade is .215" thick & very well balanced,it balances about 1 1/2 to 2 fingers in front of the handle....this is a prototype model & I think was made from 0170-6C carbon steel...the stuff Camillus used & basically the same steel as Cold Steel's Carbon V )....the newer version is 1095 carbon steel...this also has the full thickness tip (the new version it seems tapers quite a bit towards the tip & I understand most prefer this model for the extra forward weight & strength ) This is used but in nice shape, the handle is excellent ( a little oxidation on the exposed tang w the palm sits ), the blade has a few oxidation spots up at the tip,the edge is razor sharp & shows a bit of light, feathery scratches onto the blade body, either from cutting or sharpening...generally is shows use but is nice & bright & clean & in fine condition...... The handle is long & super comfortable, I can get 1 1/2 med. sized hands on it comfortably...so t is a great back grip for more chopping leverage.... This balances very well & feels light overall, but in a swing all the weight seems to go forward & it is a very powerful chopper, read more
