"Ed's Model Sheet" featuring Barney Rubble, part of the Hidden Talents Series from Hanna Barbera Animation Art. This Limited Edition was created by reproducing Ed Benedict's original art on a fine 100% cotton, acid-free paper, using high quality five colour serigraph process. The accompanying colour mark up cel was created by transferring the original art onto a sheet of exlar film through fine silk screening techniques. It was then hand painted using original Hanna Barbera colours. This edition is numbered and features the signatures of William Hanna, Joseph Barbera and Ed Benedict. It also carried the Hanna Barbera seal of authenticity - containing a fragment of Joseph Barbera's DNA as a guarantee of quality and validity of the artwork. This model sheet and cel combination was produced in Hollywood, California and is number 2195 in a limited edition of 195/400. It is to be sold unframed. This was purchased by myself from the Animation Art Gallery in Regent Street, London some 12 years ago as part of a collection for my son. The price sticker is still on the back and cost £705.00 The Fred Flintstone version is also for sale in separate listing which was puchased at the same time.
