It is made with 30% leaded crystal. This is a beautiful and hard to find decanter. The square design and elegant stopper combined with the deep cobalt blue color makes it a great decorating piece. Very ornate piece with great workmanship and substantial weight. Side measurement = 3 1/2 inches each side Total high = 11 inches including stopper Weight = 3 to 4 pounds Mint conditions with no chips or cracks of any kind. It has never been used. Still has the gold label that identifies the piece as "Handmade in West Germany" and "30% PbO".
